Storage

1. Is there a limit for storing text messages?

No, Zapper does not impose a limit on the number of text messages stored.

2. Are my messages deleted after a certain period?


No, data is not deleted unless a formal request is made by the Administrator.

3. Is there a limit for storing media files?


Yes, the storage limit for media files is defined in the contract and may vary based on the negotiated offer.


Permissions and Access

4. What is the difference between Manager and Administrator access?

  • Administrator: Full access to the platform, including viewing all Agents and configuration areas.

  • Manager: Limited access to "Messages," "Events," and "Storage" tabs for assigned groups.

5. Can employees with Agent access use the platform?


No, only Administrators and Managers can access the platform and view captured information.


Integrations and Reports

6. Do you provide API integration?


Currently, we use an ETL process. Data is sent daily in CSV format to S3-compatible storage services like AWS or Cloudflare. This needs to be requested to our support team and alligned with our tech department.

7. How can I extract the interaction history of my Monitored Agents?


The complete message history can be extracted via the "Reports" tab in Zapper Analytics.


Connectivity

8. Can my employees proactively disconnect from Zapper?


Yes, in the "Connected Devices" option in WhatsApp, employees can disconnect Zapper and other connected tools.

9. Do my employees receive WhatsApp notifications about being monitored?


No, WhatsApp does not send any notifications regarding monitoring.

10. I want to increase my number of licenses. How can I do this?

Security and Privacy

13. Does Zapper monitor anything besides WhatsApp Business on my employees' devices?

Zapper connects directly to WhatsApp servers, and no additional applications are required for installation.


The QR code scanning process via WhatsApp provides access to authentication keys specific to the WhatsApp account that performed the scan. Zapper does not have access to any information on the device nor to data related to other WhatsApp accounts that may be installed on the same device.

Once connected, Zapper does not directly interact with the device in any way. All data synchronization is carried out exclusively through WhatsApp servers.


Zapper's interaction with WhatsApp servers may inadvertently trigger actions via the device, such as uploading historical media that needs to be retrieved from the original device. This process is entirely managed and controlled by WhatsApp itself. Zapper’s role is limited to requesting specific media from WhatsApp servers.
