Access levels at Zapper

Check out the Access Levels in Zapper and How They Work

Updated over 9 months ago

Zapper offers different access levels to meet the specific needs of each user. The three types of access are: Administrator, Manager, and Agent. Each of these roles has different permissions and functionalities that are essential for the efficient use of the platform.

1. Administrator

The Administrator has the highest level of access on the Zapper platform. This user has full control over all platform functionalities and settings. Some of the key responsibilities of an Administrator include:

  • User account management: Administrators have the power to add or remove users from the platform, as well as assign different access levels.

  • Full data access: Administrators can view and modify all data on the platform, ensuring effective information management.

To add an Administrator to your environment, please contact the Customer Success representative responsible for your account.

2. Manager

Managers have an intermediate level of access on the Zapper platform. They share some of the same permissions as Administrators but with certain restrictions. Some of the responsibilities of a Manager include:

  • Team Management: Managers can manage the conversations of their team’s Agents as well as classify the captured Events.

  • Limited data access: While Administrators have full access to Zapper’s information, Managers can only view information related to their team.

To learn how to add a Manager, check out our article about the Members tab in our Help Center.

3. Agent

Agents are the basic-level users on the Zapper platform. They are monitored by Managers and Administrators.

After connecting the tool to their devices for monitoring, Agents do not have any other interaction with the platform.

To learn how to connect your Agents, check out the article about the Agents tab in our Help Center.
