Broadcast is a platform that allows you to create sequences of messages to be sent to customers.
The system analyzes which contacts have the lowest risk of being flagged for spam, which ones you interact with the most, and which are the safest to contact.
For example, when launching a campaign, instead of sending messages individually to each contact, you can use Broadcast to configure specific senders to deliver messages to specific recipients.
Note: It is important to emphasize that the tool performs an analysis to prevent and minimize the risk of bans; however, these are rules defined by Meta, and we cannot guarantee 100% that a spam-related ban will not occur.
How does Zapper Broadcast work?
The folders created within the tool are used to store the campaigns set up for message targeting.
Within the folders, you have your campaigns, and within each campaign, you have your senders and recipients.
Creating your campaign
1 – Folder creation: The first step is to create and name your folder, which will house your broadcast.
2 – Broadcast creation: Next, you can create your flow for sending messages.
Here, you can create the title of your flow:
3 – Sender selection: Next, you can select the agents associated with the account who will act as the message senders.
It is possible to filter agents by status and groups, and with the “add” option (still under development), it will be possible to add new agents without leaving the Flow/campaign creation workflow.
4 – Recipient selection: The recipients tab will list all numbers that the agents selected under “senders” have previously interacted with, ensuring that these are not first-time contacts.
The platform specifies which selected agent has previously interacted with each recipient, indicates the risk level of including that recipient in the Broadcast (based on the number of messages exchanged between the sender and the recipient), and shows which tag the contact belongs to.
It is also possible to click on the sender’s profile picture to select whether the recipient will receive the message from that number, or to switch to another number that has the same contact saved.
Risk levels for each recipient
Low risk: There has been a prior exchange of messages between the sender and the recipient.
Attention: A message has previously been sent by the sender, but there has been no response or conversation from the recipient.
Critical: There has been no prior interaction with this number.
(Note: Sending messages to a large number of critical contacts increases the risk of a spam-related ban on WhatsApp.)
It is important to note that Zapper does not block the sending of messages to critical contacts. The system only provides a warning regarding the sending, and it is up to the user to decide whether or not to select a contact marked as critical/attention.
It is also important to emphasize that the tool performs an analysis to prevent and minimize the risk of bans; however, these are rules defined by Meta, and we cannot guarantee 100% that a spam-related ban will not occur.
Additionally, within the recipients tab, it is possible to apply filters by risk level, source, and groups.
The risk meter located in the upper-right corner is updated as recipients are selected.
5 – Message creation: In the message creation tab, you can add images, attach files, and write the content you would like to send to all previously selected recipients.
It is also possible to create more than one message, allowing different versions to be sent randomly among the contacts.
You can also create additional messages to be sent at different times by selecting how long after the previous message the next one should be delivered.
The message cadence is fully customizable, allowing you to define the start and end of the campaign; however, there are limitations/cooldown periods between sends to help prevent spam-related bans.
6 – Publishing your campaign: Once all configuration steps are completed, you can publish your campaign and begin sending messages.
You can choose to start immediately or schedule a specific date and time for the Broadcast to begin.
7 – Monitoring your Broadcast: Once the campaign has been created, you can track its information and status.
In the campaign analytics overview, you can monitor:
The number of recipients contacted, how many messages were created, how many were sent, and how many messages failed.
You can also track sends by sender and view the next available time slot for message delivery (in the case of multiple messages).
